MI5 priority collection on British Jihadists in Syria

The BBC is reporting that MI5, the UK domestic intelligence service, regards British jihadists in Syria as their priority collection target. I suggested this would be the case back in January. If interested, please have a read of my piece: Why Syria is forcing British Intelligence into hard choices. Also related are my two recent pieces on ISIS for the Telegraph: (pre-Iraq crisis) A terrorist storm heads west and ISIS holy land: June 2015. And my (pre-Iraq crisis) Fox News discussion on ISIS.

My related thoughts can be found under ''Other'' header of this page.

  1. I'd be curious to hear what you think about the Fox host closing with a callback to an Obama quote. It seems like you initiated a short but serious discussion but the host wants to make sure that the audience leaves with the message that "you've just heard some bad stuff, but remember its all Obama's fault."
