The McLaughlin Group - March 12th - CBS-NY, PBS Nationwide
FULL EPISODE
My time linked comments:
President Obama's hypocrisy on executive power, Supreme Court bias on left, and the need to secure border
Adding Pennsylvania to Pat's list of states where the populist anger over immigration reform failure will hurt Democrats
Liberals are not serious about securing border, and Congress has a Constitutionally mandated role that Constitutional Law Professor, President Obama, is obliged to respect
Predicting that the Supreme Court will rule 4-4 on Obama executive action and thus uphold Appeals Court ruling against the President
Trump needs 3 things from VP pick - 1) establishment appeal 2) social conservative consolidation 3) charisma and intellect in VP but also reserved style contrast. AKA: Pat! Agreeing with Eleanor on Scott Brown being very possible
Can't see Ben Carson as Trump VP
Expressing amusement about how flippant political alliances can be
Need for a VP nominee who can affect mid-west races
Discussing whether Julian Castro will be Hillary's VP running mate, and whether Warren might be Hillary's VP outreach to the Bernie crowd
Sanders might pick Biden as VP running mate, and a little joke on Naval Observatory
Explaining why US drug prices are so high, how the world gains US taxpayer subsidies for their health care, how to address that unfair disparity and why addressing it is necessary for all Americans. And then Pat accuses me of taking narcotics. Which I do not.
The hard choices that are necessary to reduce Medicare prescription drug prices. Otherwise system will go bankrupt
Agreeing with Pat - no shock that the US invents new prescription drugs
US needs serious drug price reform - especially in forcing world to pay much more
Prediction: Rubio will do better than expected in Florida, but Trump will win. Ohio will go to Kasich
