Americans have no idea?
A few rebuttals to this silly letter...
The economic recovery is historically slow and weak. Many of the jobs added are part-time, labor participation is woeful, and lower gas prices have nothing to do with the President. Absent inflationary pressures reflect the continued slack in the economy. US oil production increases are largely due to Bush administration policies and take place against a restrictive regulatory framework. Energy production could also be much greater in the sense of Keystone XL (and the broader Shale/LNG huge untapped export potential). The deficit will escalate on an uncontrolled course in 2018 (CBO). Entitlement reform is non-existent and will eventually bankrupt my generation if unreformed. The withdrawal from Iraq was a disaster. The withdrawal from Afghanistan will, if Obama doesn't change course, risk losing the east and south to the Taliban. Though he deserves credit for authorizing it, the Bin Laden operation was delayed unnecessarily and flowed from intelligence professionals under Bush and Obama, rather than Obama's WH.
