Relevant to my piece on the Russian air strikes against Ariha's al-Shami hospital, I've measured the distance between Russia's Khmeimim air base and Ahira. At 45 miles, it fits well with the UN report's finding of an approximate 10 minute gap between the Russian jet departure from Khmeimim and the commenced air strikes. Note also the report's finding of three successive strikes on different sides of the hospital (indicative of Russian missile targeting versus Syrian air force bombing).
