Trump-China, Iran threat, USMCA trade, Germany terrorism

Trump is right to foster friction with China. The nature of China’s challenge to the U.S.-led international order is such that it demands aggressive American pushback.
Iran’s missile attack on ISIS is intended as a message to the US and Saudi Arabia. Tehran deliberately used ballistic missiles with a range to strike U.S. assets.
The USMCA is a win for free trade and the economy. The president deserves credit for negotiating an agreement that will serve American and continental interests.
Germany is caught between a weak Chancellor and two extremist hard places. Far-right terrorists and Islamic-terrorist groups pose a growing challenge.
