Environment

1 comment:

  1. Spot on Tom. I'm an environmental engineer and have always thought it has been tragic that conservatives have jettisoned their traditional environmental legacy since the 80's. All my life I've been a fisherman and one of the first family values my father taught me was to pick up garbage that others had thrown by the sides of the lakes and rivers we loved. The worst part of the conservative absence is that this leaves environmentalism in the hands of Luddite obstructionists who think that protecting the environment means excluding mankind from the ecosystem as well as often coming up with some costly, non-science-based and ultimately ineffective regulations that don't help the environment at all.
